rastoc Junior Squad! We are so excited and proud to have been chosen.
Can we start off with you telling us how old you are?
Alyssa: I’m 10
Ava: I’m 5
And how long have your been riding?
Alyssa: I first sat on a horse when I was 3 months old, I got my first pony Spinner when I was 2.
Ava: For as long as I can remember.
You have both had some great success in a short amount of time, what’s your secret?
Alyssa: I get heaps of help from my mum and my aunties and I practice a lot.
Ava: Because I have the best ponies in the world!
What do you love most about horses?
Alyssa: The thing I love most about horses is their friendship.
Ava: They carry me.
What do you hope to do when you grow up?
Alyssa: I would love to be a vet and a World Cup Showjumper.
Ava: I want to be a Showjumping Instructor at Equitana.
Why did you enter the Barastoc Junior Squad Search?
Alyssa: We love Barastoc feed and it looks like great fun!
Ava: Because I love horses
What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not riding?
Alyssa: Gymnastics and netball.
Ava: Gymnastics and playing with my cousins.
What do you feed your horses?
Alyssa: Calm Performer, Cool Command, hay and grass.
Ava: Banana lollies and apples.
What events have you got coming up?
Alyssa: Pony Club this weekend and Orbost HT, gymkhana and Ag show in March, which is my favourite weekend of the year!
Ava: Pony Club and Orbost, but I can’t do cross country until I am 8.
If you had to pick just one, what is your favourite discipline?
Alyssa: Definitely Showjumping:)
Ava: Cross Country.
If you could meet one famous person in the world, who would it be?
Alyssa: I already have!!! 3 time Olympic Showjumper Matt Williams. I met him in January at the Gippsland Showjumping Festival.
Ava: Katy Perry and GoGoJo(Jojo Siwa)

Who is your biggest supporter?
Alyssa: My aunties, mum and Mege and Pop.
Ava: My aunties, mum and grandparents.
